Welcome to Casa Azul, an inviting western-style bungalow in Salinas Grandes, Nicaragua.
This open-concept home features a spacious kitchen, living room, and two air-conditioned bedrooms, making it ideal for 2 to 4 guests. Enjoy the large shaded patio facing the beach and ocean, offering a tranquil escape just one hour from Leon.
The space: Casa Azul comfortably sleeps four, with one bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom with two single beds, both equipped with A/C units. Three sets of French doors open up to create a seamless indoor/outdoor living experience overlooking the beach. Rain or shine, this bungalow is perfect for beachside living. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, blender, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, oven/stove, and water dispenser with a purifier.
The house is fully furnished, including a dining table with chairs, hammocks, patio furniture, and rocking chairs.
Guest access: Guests have full access to the entire home, surrounded by neighboring colorful vacation homes.
Upon arrival at Playa Tesoro, please check in at the office where our manager will guide you to your unit, provide Wi-Fi access, and review our rental inventory list.
Other things to note: Additional amenities and information:
- We offer taxi service from Leon to Tesoro for $30 USD per trip; please contact us to arrange.
- Please notify us if you are driving in so we can provide accurate directions. There is no specific address, and arriving in the mid-afternoon is advised to avoid navigating in the dark.
- Dining: Our small cantina restaurant operates intermittently. Please inform our resort staff if you plan to order breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Prices and contact details are posted outside the cantina.
- Remember to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen.
- Laundry service is available for $15 USD per load; please speak to our onsite staff to arrange.
Note: Guests are advised to exercise caution regarding ocean waves and currents, typical of the Pacific Coast. Enjoy the beach at your own risk.

- Check-in is after 2:00 p.m.
- Check-out is before 11:00 a.m.
- Maximum occupancy is 4 guests; additional guests incur a fee of $10. Children under 12 stay free, with a maximum of three children.
