Daily adventures or chill days by the pool Playa Tesoro is ready for full adventures with locally basic tour operators and staff. We locally source our suppliers and operators to maintain as much of the income as possible to remain in our local area. We offer community basic adventures such as volcano boarding, ruins of Leon, panga trips up the river Tamarindo to El Estero restaurant, walking tours in Leon packed with culture and history, day trip to the Flor de Cana Rum Factory and more. While dining at Tesoro, we want you to enjoy the healthiest of foods and we use the freshest local ingredients. All meals are cooked fresh using ingredients such as fresh fish, vegetables and fruit and using recipes which are unique to Nicaragua. We aim aim to really bring a special dining experience to our guest.
A typical day includes:
Buffet breakfast with fresh fruit with yogurt, scrambled eggs with optional vegetable, oven baked tortillas, gallo pinto (Nica beans and rice), fresh bread, handmade granola, fresh juice, coffee, tea and smoothies.
Lunch: Veggie burgers, yucca chips, fruit salad, and fried yucca or plantain chips
Appetizer: Local fish ceviche (with huge chunks of fish)
Dinner: Thai green curry, green mango, and shrimp fried rice or Shrimp pasta.
Dessert: fresh fruit, yogurt or dessert of the day
